By donating you will be enabling a Veteran to fly to Washington, DC free-of-charge!
You are able to make your contribution to HFCFA online by credit card or ACH bank transfer. However, American Express is NOT accepted. Stripe, the company that processes our donations charges us a processing fee. If you would like to offset that fee, please consider increasing your donation by 4%. We will also accept donations by check mailed to us at the mailing address below.
I don’t have words to express my appreciation for all that had to happen for the Honor Flight to take place. Militarily speaking, it was the best day I have ever had. I thought when we got on the bus to head back home, it could not have been any better—but I was wrong. I was just about to go to sleep when we had the Mail Call/Flag presentation. Normally, I am not an emotional guy, but my eyes began to water when I started reading the letters, notes, and cards. That really topped off the day. But, then came the welcome home celebration at the airport terminal! I spent 18 months in Vietnam and never considered myself a hero. But, I sure felt like I got a hero’s welcome in Wilmington Saturday night!"
